What pharmacies ask us.
Does PharmGo replace my CD register?
No. Your CD register is kept in the pharmacy, as it is now. PharmGo keeps the delivery record: who took the delivery out, when, where it was handed over and who received it.
What does the driver have to record for a controlled drug?
The driver app will not mark a controlled drug or fridge delivery as delivered without a signature and a photo. The driver also records who took it: the patient, family, a neighbour or a carer. If it could not be delivered, the driver gives the reason.
What can I show an inspector?
You can download a controlled drugs delivery report, a fridge report, the RP log and an inspection pack from PharmGo, alongside each delivery's own record.
Is PharmGo approved by the GPhC?
No. The GPhC regulates pharmacies, not software, and the pharmacy owner stays responsible for meeting its standards. PharmGo keeps the delivery records its guidance talks about, so they are there when you need them.
Does the record show where a controlled drug was handed over?
Yes, when the phone allows location. When the driver presses Complete, the app notes where the phone was, and the delivery's record shows that place on a map beside the delivery address, with the distance between them.
What happens if the patient is not in?
The controlled drug is not marked delivered. The driver picks the reason, such as no answer or address wrong, and the delivery goes to the failed deliveries queue with that reason, ready to try again.
Can I send the proof of delivery to someone else?
Yes. Download a proof-of-delivery PDF from a completed delivery, or send a link to it that lasts 30 days.
Are the proof photos and signatures kept private?
Yes. Proof photos and signatures are private files. They open only through a link that expires.
