The person receiving signs on the driver's screen. The driver takes one or more photos, checks them full screen and removes a bad one before sending.

A failed delivery has a reason.

What is electronic proof of delivery (ePOD)?
It is the record of a hand-over made on the driver's phone at the door, in place of a paper sheet: a signature, photos, who took the delivery and the time. In PharmGo it is kept on each delivery's record on the web.
Does every delivery need a signature?
A controlled drug or fridge delivery is not marked delivered without a signature and a photo. For other deliveries the driver records who took it, and can add a signature and photos.
Does the record show where the delivery was made?
When the driver presses Complete, the app notes where the phone was, if the phone allows location. The delivery's record shows that place on a map beside the delivery address, with the distance between them.
Can I send the proof to a patient or a care home?
Yes. Download a proof-of-delivery PDF from a completed delivery, or send a link to it that lasts 30 days. The patient can also see the proof on their tracking page after entering their date of birth.
What is recorded when a delivery fails?
The driver picks the reason: no answer, refused, address wrong, access issue, no answer with a card left, or no answer after phoning the patient. If none fits, they type the reason. The reason and any photos go to the failed deliveries queue, ready to try again.
Are the photos and signatures kept private?
Yes. Proof photos and signatures are private files. They open only through a link that expires.
